Austin performs as Naughty Escort. Damn that's cheeky. I saw naughty escort in an old add in a magazine epoxied to the top of a table. Is it too cheeky? I hope you don't think I'm trying to tap into this whole super slut thing that pervades modern culture. I just think the phrase is to fun to let go by the wayside. Have fun with all this music and check back often!

I've dug out an old mix from the vaults of Loungesport antiquity. Nature is Awakened is a deep ambient mix that is made for the end of the night or a cloudy, indoor kind of day. It has music from Fresh Moods, Jon and Vangelis, Air, Boards of Canada, Husky Rescue, and much more.

Sizzling hot new tunes from Naughty and crew!!
This new pair of headphones is really helping up my output. Now I can make beats late into the night without bugging Heather too much. My mastering is getting real solid, so I think these are the best tracks to date.
Beginnings has another great vocal by Lotus Olin. It's a really smooth anytime, anywhere kind of 80's-house cut. It's deep, it's funky, it's catchy, it's all that and more. I made it for josh from earthtone sounsystem. He's been a huge influence and is a dance music encyclopedia. Thanks for everything Josh!
Jude's Tune is a late night, big room or outdoor kind of deep progressive house cut. It's really trippy and pumps. I made it for Jude and took a sample from Francoise and his Paris of the South Radio Hour. He drops the best quote about sound and music that I have ever heard. Francoise is a hyper creative type and writes more poetically in English than I. Your words are beautiful Francoise!
Keep it Warm is a collaboration between Adam and I. He gave me an Ableton file with this sample and I remixed the track, pretty much rewriting the song from the ground up. It's got some cool changes and drops.
Thumb Harp was created by Nigel 1 and I a year ago. We both wrote the parts and I remixed it for the park this last weekend. It turned out really well, so I'm kicking it down to you! It's another of those anytime, anywhere tracks. Super good vibes all around.
Are you Hear to Get Down?
Well, the iceberg has finally tipped. Those who are familiar with the project know it really is a "finally" situation. I'm so thankful Shelley wouldn't let me slack, and that Jason was willing to take time out from being a doctor and father and record some saxophone for In Dreams. But damn, this took forever to finish! I don't know if other artists get burnt out on their music before it's even finished, but I do. Julie would say it's my Gemini nature. It might be. If the moon can sway the oceans, why can't the cosmos sway me? It's odder to think that they coudn't. At any rate, I had to come back to this music time and again in order to know what to do with it. The satisfaction comes from knowing that it is by far the best that I have come up with. Well, me Shelley and Jason, because the music would be too sanitary without their soulfulness added to it.
I was origianlly going to offer Hear to Get Down for sale through tunecore but it takes 8 weeks to get it going and this is definitely Spring and Summertime music. I feel like I deserve to get paid for this because dj's will be getting paid and bar owners will be selling drinks and selling admissions. Bay cruise and Abiza beach bar operators will profit from the energy of these tracks. They'll want these feelings for themselves and their patrons. Some of that money should trickle down. But really, what's more important, another paycheck ( I have a day job) or making every effort to get these tracks to the dance floors? I hope and want for as many people as possible to get to hear these tracks, and that, my friends, is why I am making them available to you for absolutely nothing. I hope you enjoy.
Below are wave files and 320 bit rate mp3's. I encourage the dj's to play waves. I made this music using a Roland JX-8P (my mom is really cool), a MicroKorg, and most importantly, Ableton Live, which is about the most fun you can have manipulating and recording music. In Live I use their operator, for vst's I use the Novation Bass Station, FXpansion Guru, and the FXpansion Orca, which is a free vst offered on their website. All of these products are licensed because I am thankful for what their teams have introduced and they deserve to take care of their families.
Heather just said it looks like I'm writing a book. Time to sign off. Time for you to tune in to Hear to Get Down.

Steady Broke is a heady break beat track. I don't think it is even really for the dance floor. It has my best solo to date and so that kind of makes it my favorite track.
